Gather Inn is located in the tranquil midlake area community, Timberlake Village, and is less than a mile from the sandy shores of Deep Creek Lake State Park, Silver Tree Marina, the village movie theater, the Honi Honi Bar and Arrowhead Market! Wisp, Swallow Falls, Golfing and more are just a short drive away.

You simply cannot go wrong in renting the Gather Inn for your trip to Deep Creek. The house was beautifully decorated and well appointed for a relaxing and yet very fun stay. The rooms were generously sized and very well appointed. We could tell by furnishings chosen by the homeowner that they cared about functionality and guests’ comfort as opposed to just making it look good on the cheap. The Gather Inn was in a wonderful spot at the top of the street and was fairly private. We enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the trees and a sliver of the lake and yet still being about to be down lakefront at a small grocery or boat rental or even Deep Creek State Park in just a matter of minutes. Parking was easy and plentiful for our 4 vehicles and even with the neighboring house being unoccupied, we would’ve been fine. I would recommend in these times of COVID where cleaning is the main priority that you throw some extra staples in your bags like hand soaps for bathrooms/kitchen, dish washer pods, extra paper towels, and garbage bags. We had most with us, but had to get a couple things. We were a group of 4 Moms and HS daughters trying to get away without being near too many others and relaxing before potentially quarantining during school again. I would LOVE to go there again with my family.

I stayed at Gaithers Inn from Thursday through Monday AND WE HAD A BLAST!!! The house was extremely clean and had all of the pots, pans, dishes and silverware you could ever ask for. The décor was just beautiful!! I am planning another trip for the spring time and that is where we are going to stay. If you are thinking about planning a trip to Deep Creek...DO IT!! It's the best thing since sliced bread!!Blessings
